It’s pretty funny how I’ve seen posts exactly like this one 10-15 years ago, and nothing has really changed that much from a consumer perspective.
It’s just simply cheaper, more reliable, and more convenient to have local storage.
If it has an HDMI port, it can be a dumb TV. Just don’t connect it to wifi, easy
Gesundheit
Yours doesn’t?
The old adage “they don’t make em like they used to” heavily applies to fridges. Our 30 year old fridges in unininsulated garages (one at home, one at a workshop) keep going through all the abuse and neglect, but the 3-5 year old fridge in the kitchen always has problems. Replacing it with a different brand only slightly increased the reliability. I’d foot the electricity bill for peace of mind.
It’s not just you
Sooo I was kinda in your shoes a few months ago, and decided I really needed to do something about it before I lost my goddam mind. What I’m doing (and it’s kinda working) is to find a community that interests you, and persistently be involved in it. I personally found a streamer on Twitch and a few Discord communities, and hang out with those people by generally just being there and having small interactions with others. We watch the same things and play the same games in voice chat. It really helps to have some sort of common activity that you can comment on and springboard your experiences or stories. You don’t have to be that guy that’s obnoxious and in everyone’s face, just pay attention to the people in these groups and be super friendly. I’ve found a few acquaintances and am working on knowing them better to become friends. You’ll remember names and interesting things about them, or be like me and take notes so you don’t forget lmao. Eventually, they’ll say “Hi <name!> It’s nice to see you again. How was your day?” and then you know you’re on the right track.
Socializing is hard, especially when you’re not used to it and in this online era. If you’re friendly and attentive, people will reflect that energy back to you, and you will form bonds. Good luck!
Taper off, and self-care. Make sure you sleep regularly and sleep well, take lots of water, try to get some exercise even if it’s walking. I’ve been through it and it sucks, but you can do it!
You SHOULD expect legal advice, and your SHOULD seek it from a lawyer. Doing anything else can lead to serious consequences.
Okay, but you have to realize that they’re under no obligation to please you.
Even if the opportunity presented itself, it’s not necessarily the case that it would have come to fruition. Chances are that person wouldn’t have bothered to make a video even with your request, because they were likely panicking about their stuck ring. I’d be happy that my advice helped the person out without pushing my luck to get a video out of it too.
Maybe try the largest city close by, one of the florists there might have a website where you can order online
One of the main things I kinda ran into recently, credit unions are set up for private accounts and don’t do business accounts very well. I bought a car recently and the business owner was telling me that it was a hurdle to deal with large amounts of money on a regular basis with his credit union, and he didn’t have issues with his conventional bank in that regard. I don’t know the specifics unfortunately but it does make sense.
No, but having a blindfold on doesn’t suddenly make it okay to punch someone
Yeah you don’t get it and never will, that’s a shame
It’s still pretty light if we’re considering the array of skin tones that are throughout humanity. If you weren’t Finnish, but instead African or Indian or South American for example, maybe you wouldn’t feel that yellow was representative of you and your people. Saying yellow is fine for everyone because you feel it’s fine isn’t taking into account the other billions of opinions in the world.
Maybe you’d feel differently if your country wasn’t 90+% homogeneous with a light skin tone
Yup, it’s why ASCII has weird characters like “carriage return” and “bell”
