I don’t know what the answer is, but I do know that this “soft on crime” and “it’s not their fault” victim mentality isn’t working… I’ve seen retail workers CRY because people are constantly stealing and berating them if they try and get involved… it’s a very frustrating issue.

Okay, change it how? Give people homes? Give them more money? Better education? Hold their hands and guide them in life? How exactly do you think we should change everything so that it benefits criminals?

What do you suggest the stores do to curb theft? I’m being serious too? Just ignore it?

It’s a catch 22… literally. If they don’t lock it up, half the shit would be gone within days. I’ve seen it. I work part time in merchandising, my CVS and Walgreens stores have people coming in ALL THE TIME, grabbing shit from the shelves and running out. It’s fucking frustrating.

So, are you suggesting people just keep voting the way they do, and nothing changes? I mean, we’re dealing with the same shit in California. The Left literally does not want to do shit about the homeless crisis. The Right wants forced intervention… and of course, we can’t have that, so we’re going in circles. Nothing is getting done with Democrats in power, they literally believe the homeless issue is okay.

The Far Right movement is gaining momentum because many of their own people are getting tired of the “immigrants are more important” mindset their country is creating. Many of France’s own people are getting ignored, so that the political parties in charge can focus on helping poor immigrants from other countries. Well, France’s own citizens are getting tired of this, and have started to vote in more people who have a “French People First” mentality (similar to what Trump wanted to do, and everyone called him a racist for being “America First”). So, the party RN (National Rally) wins and now their going to get rid of all the current members in Parliament, and have a new vote to get people in. I think that’s what it means?

The reason the “far right” is gaining momentum around the world because of immigration issues. It has nothing to do with “racism” and “bigotry”, like people on Lemmy and Reddit claim. The Left and Liberals are too concern with helping everyone else, and not their own. Countries are abandoning traditional goals and support for their own citizens, and focusing on helping poor immigrants from all over the place. Sooner or later, your own citizens are going to get fed up.

Because most countries are not like the US. The US is one of the most sought after countries in the world to live in, while also being one of the most hated by countries all over the world. My safety is important, I don’t want some dude to just come in and decide to blow himself up in the middle of LA.

It’s crazy how every country and Earth is allowed to have immigration laws and policies in place, except the US…for some reason, it’s so controversial.

Oh geez…what ISN’T considered racist nowadays…Israel is doing what they think will prohibit another random attack…the Palestinian people are not all innocent. They continually support and vote for Hamas leaders. The majority of their people want Jews dead. It’s the same crap with other middle east countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran…sure, there’s some good people, but the overwhelming majority support their strict government and the people that make the laws…it’s not as easy as we all think for Israel just to target military members of Hamas when all the people there support them, protect them, and harbor them…
