Those photos are from planes.
Are you under the impression other countries don’t have Covid information websites? The issue here is radicalising a few hundred million people, not the loss of the info.
People are answering your headline but not understanding your question; the two aren’t as linked as they would be in French.
All of these are valid:
These sound more natural than the following:
At least for Muscovite, it retains the implication that the school is for people from Moscow, rather than the school being in Moscow. You could have a Muscovite school in London. You could have a Versaillian cafe in Osaka.
You can see this a lot more often in religion, eg. I went to a Presbyterian school - I went to a school for Presbyterians.
Uh, maybe don’t call it that.
Trump at the press dinner, Musk masturbating to submersible plans, Bezos getting cucked for half his fortune.
Limp white millionaires really do get deranged when they realise it doesn’t buy them respect.
The point of the meme is the experience of witnessing the unique rate of progress in game engines, not the variety. There’s definitely more variety now than ever before, if you go looking for it l, and I say that as a 40 year old curmudgeon.
I’m not sure this even counts because the guy basically said let’s be friends and she has leapt to thinking about getting back together. This just sounds like someone with issues of their own, if dating someone who is obviously unthinking but falls well within the predicted bounds of normal behaviour for a teenager makes them think they might be a lesbian.
"Good news and bad news. Good news, Trump is not the president anymore… "
to normal people it comes off as cultish
lol
Again, by this criteria the comments section of a Fox News article is a social media platform. There has to be some form of intent. You could use PasteBin to have a conversation, that wouldn’t make it a messaging application.
No, because Lemmy isn’t social media. It’s a link aggregator.
Social media requires you to know who the other people are, or at least that the identity and personality of the other people posting matters to what you consume. Apart from one or two attention-seeking exceptions, I almost never notice who posted something.
In fact, Lemmy being a Reddit clone, you may remember Reddit stirring controversy for years as they did try to become social media - adding avatars, followers functions, chat groups, etc.; none of which really suit the platform or its audience. Perhaps as the audience has changed they’ve gotten what they wanted.
If “social media” is just the ability to comment anonymously on Internet content and argue with strangers, then the guest book on my Geocities soccer page was social media.
It reads like regurgitating dehydrated phlegm
Edit:
Anyone want to state their opinion?
Germans: “Das is der inkorrect opinion Herr Irlandisch”
The general trend of the behaviour of the userbase when it first began appearing. I’m pretty block-happy. I’m sure it’s an over-generalisation but I’ve learned over the years that I’d rather miss out than feel constantly annoyed.
I pronounce it “this post hidden due to instance block settings”.
They were observed finding one ROM on the Internet, ever. They do have their own emulator(s).
Nintendo is a bunch of humans. If my boss asks me to see if I can find the installer for an old version of our software, you can bet I’ll check anywhere before volunteering to go scrape old hard drives.
They are not “banning” emulators. They take action against two sorts of problems: leaking, and distribution of copyrighted material. Yuzu was taken down because they stupidly started charging for help with playing Tears of the Kingdom before its release. Other emulators have been threatened because they included binary console OS software (rather than actually fully emulating the console itself) or actually distributed game ROMs.
Dolphin has been around for about 20 years now. Why? Because they don’t distribute copyrighted material, recommend against doing so, and don’t require to include any binaries from the console.
Here’s all they had to both say and adhere to, to “survive” the supposedly blood-hungry Nintendo for longer than some of the people reading this have been alive:
Where can I download game ISOs/ROMs?¶
Short answer: You don’t. Buy games and dump them with a Wii.
Long answer: Downloading commercial games is illegal and thus strongly frowned upon by the Dolphin developers. To prevent legal issues, this includes gray areas like downloading games which you purchased earlier. You don’t necessarily need to own a gaming console by yourself because you can buy a game disc and dump them with a friend’s console. On the other hand, copying a friend’s game dump is considered illegal again.
Also, lol @ the idea that it’s hypocrisy for them to use their own game files. You understand that’s what a ROM is, right? It isn’t magic. It’s just a binary file.
As as to be said somehow literally every time these headlines are published, nominations for any Nobel prize are kept secret and announcing that you’ve submitted a nomination if anything makes them less likely to be accepted as it harms the nomination by harming the image of the nominator. Anyone can say they’ve nominated anyone for a Nobel Peace Prize and they can’t be proven or disproven for 50 years.
Oh and “Pakistan” can’t nominate anyone for a Nobel Prize. All you need to be a nominator for the Nobel Peace Prize is to be an elected official or a university professor, but you do have to be a person. The likely of a headline not bothering to distinguish between a person and their 250 million people nation seems to increase linearly with distance east from the Greenwich meridian.

Please remember this when that Norwegian ‘scientist’ nominations Trump or Elon or whoever in October like he does every year.
