Tried it, it couldn’t block the ads on the site, only ublock could do it.
Comparison between different protocol implementations.
Pretty sure they are using discord because most people are familiar with it and it is easier to contribute to the project.
All browsers on ios are the same browser engine, only recently have they allowed different browser engines.

I was helping someone download a tv show on an Ipad, they use Ublock origin on their laptop. The problem is that their is no Ublock orgin on the ipad, I kept trying to find the download button and getting ads in the end I gave up. I just used the laptop. There was no torrent for this show, I had to use a shity ad-ridden site.
Original Nyaa died years ago, this is the revived Nyaa.
Also just so you are aware apparently the changes weren’t removed, but only show if you have a US ip. So US have their own privacy policy that differs from the rest of the world. The reason it was included is probably this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smell-O-Vision.
This is the US policy dated January 2025: https://docs.roku.com/api/v1/published/userprivacypolicy/en/US/text
The rest of the world it is dated 12 December.
It is definitely a catch all, disclosure of this information is required by California law, that is the only reason they even put it in the policy. They seem to have accidentally released it worldwide, which is why they reverted it, now it only shows if you have a California ip.
The new section pertains to the California Law about biometric data collection, it seems they removed it because it was applied worldwide and they didn’t want that. I used a California VPN server and the privacy policy changed for me.
It is related to the California Law, there are no sensors in the tv. The strange thing is that they reverted the policy without informing anyone.

It is a deal, it is only for a limited time. They do deals like this from time to time. The deal lasts for 12 months then goes back to regular price.
I haven’t tried seedbox, but Usenet is very cheap and you can consider it similar to having private trackers I suppose. You will find many releases on Usenet that you will only find in private trackers. Also you don’t need seeders, so as long as the file wasn’t removed by DCMA you can download it.
It is nothing to be embarrassed about, usenet is very old which is why most people don’t knwo about it. Usenet has been around since 1980. You can refer to the below link for more info.
NZBGeek an indexer offer a trial and Usenet farm offer a 10 GB trial if you want to test it. If you want usenet to get it you look for deals. You got two ways for usenet either ultimate or block (basically prepaid you pay for data and they don’t expire you get them forever)
Block 6 TB for €15 (2800+ retention ) : https://bulknews.eu/en/ and use the code bf241.
NZBGeek an indexer costs $12 a year they also offer deals throughout unfortunately black Friday is over so no deals now.
If you got this you get a total of $27.62 for the year which is $2.3 per month.
Of course if you are comfortable with torrent just stay on torrent and maybe use IRC for anything you can’t find a torrent for.
I though the same too, but realized that it is easier than looking for torrents with seeders. I used to pay more for netflix than what I currently pay for Usenet. Torrenting these days isn’t the same as years ago, many public torrent sites closed. I selfhost a server that basically does everything for me I only need to pick the show to download. You can try usenet for free, usenet.farm offer a 10 GB block to trial Usenet, also the indexer NZBGeek offer a trial if I am not wrong.
When I first heard of IPFS, I also thought it was anoymous, but I researched and it just like bittorrent everyone can see your IP. You have to use VPN.
https://discuss.ipfs.tech/t/how-to-make-ipfs-node-ip-address-anonymous/12359/3
If you want an anonymous P2P try freenet or I2P. There is also a new anonymous network currently being developed called Vailid which seems promising.
What are talking about, IPFS isn’t anonymity network, it is similar to torrenting everyone can see your ip.
Just looked up Veilid seems to similar to I2P, but it is still in development and can’t be used for now. Also I agree that IPFS is horrible and not just the setup, the developer themselves are against piracy. What is the point of a decentralised network that picks and chooses what it hosts? BitTorrent, Tor, Freenet, and I2P never did this as far as I know.
