You can wear a mask. I bring one with me on public transit or other places I expect a lot of people in close proximity.

Facebook and it’s ilk are the reason I moved away from other forms of social media and internet community.
Working with them in any form seems like a great way to poison the waters if the fediverse.
There should be zero collaboration.
I feel like people got worse on the road after the pandemic. Dunno why, just a feeling I got.
Humans are largely good to one another face to face, our most evil things happen when we create systems that allow us to remove the humanity from one another. We also have a tendency to allow only sociopaths and psychopaths to lead us, and we gotta nip that in the bud, but most people who aren’t like that don’t want to lead.
Oh yeah. I use it all the time. It’s useful to hit the key and type the first 3-5 characters of the program I want to launch and hitting return.
It’s also the function key for the screen clip feature which I use often (Windows + Shift + S).
This is totally kosher where I am and I’ve done it before, but if I think I’ll be observed I’ll ask my neighbor. They’ve always responded with some variation of “oh of course, I consider it trash” and sometimes explain reasons they’re getting rid of it that dissuaded me from taking it that weren’t immediately obvious.
And the Sinclair Media Group.
To answer OP’s question succinctly, yes, and they do.
Huawei is making some seriously impressive stuff for a decent price, just wish I could get it in the States.
I was confused watching Reading Rainbow because I didn’t understand how a blind man could be reading to me.
Lil bonus, I know first hand why floppy disks are called that, but only because my dad had some old games.
Her smoking pot herself is irrelevant, it’s bad that people were prosecuted for using drugs.
The hypocrisy doesn’t matter, all politicians are lying hypocrites, I’m voting for the one that ain’t supported by Nazis trying to drag America backwards a hundred years.
How do I catch more trout? Should I switch to an ultralight fast action rod from my medium-light medium action rod? Do I need more braided line or should I just wait until I run out of this spool?
Should I be targeting bigger fish? How can I be sure they are there and what do I use to target them?
Do I care about catching fish, really, or do I just enjoy being out in nature, away from the office, and playing in the water?
But I think they similarly hold the PD ransom so you can’t shop around.
Or at least mine tried to do that, but I asked to see some frames behind them and snuck a peak at the notes and went elsewhere on principle.
Free training and increase the minimum wage while tying it to inflation.
Rewind the last 15 seconds of a meal to enjoy the last bite again.
Is this tool called a camera, by chance?
Once. It took like 15 min and I did it while grocery shopping.
That was a “fine enough” substitute before commercial egg replacers got as good and commonplace as they are now. I’ll still do it for some recipes as I like the added apple flavor and moisture, but I generally use Ener-G Egg Replacer for replacing eggs in a dough mix and maple syrup for egg washes when vegan baking these days.
This isn’t as crazy as it seems. In some bread and cake recipes, you can easily replace some of the oil with applesauce and have a successful bake. I’ve done this with muffins and banana bread to great success.
They’re still being foolish as you need some fat for most bakes to work and using apple sauce introduces more fiber, protein and water instead of fat, but it’s not a totally baseless substitution.
Aren’t those subjective things? It’s easier to measure something like chess skill or whether or not someone can do complex math, but harder to quantify someone’s morality.
Fishing has been great for me. Gives ya a chance to learn what’s around you by researching local waterways and what fish live in em. Then connect with them by studying their habits throughout the year and their diet. You plan your tackle box and rod set up around that and test your studies by trying to catch the dang things. And in the process of that you get some lovely, peaceful scenery and maybe a hike.
It’s fairly cheap, too. The fishing gear on Ali Express is damn good for the price and while I can see arguments on spending on a quality rod and reel, I’ll tell ya I prefer my $65 Pflueger President spinning reel, but I wouldn’t have paid that much if I had used the $12 one I got on Ali Express first. You’ll be replacing line, lures and hooks somewhat often when you start anyway so no reason to break the bank.
In the winter months, I do more model building and painting indoors. Gunpla don’t have to be expensive and you can go all out on learning new techniques to erase mold lines and seamlessly join parts and that kinda technique learning keeps me engaged. Plus, when you’re done, you have something you can put on display. I also give completed kits away to younger relatives when I get tired of it or I wanna try the kit again with new techniques.
As far as fitness, it’s not quite a hobby, but I hop on a stationary bike and watch star trek. I fucking love Star Trek!
