Buying there is worse for devs as this is credit card fraud to buy keys and the devs will have to do chargebacks. Devs prefer piracy over key resellers.

What new Mastodonians need to understand is that they need to follow hashtags, not people. This should be the first welcoming sentence on any instance.

Rather than block lists, just subscribe to the lemmy communities that interest you and don’t subscribe to political/news communities. Then view lemmy through the “subscribed” feed rather than the “all” feed - no political posts - problem solved.
