What’s a clonk?
Also, kudos for at least trying to get the person out. Shame it ended the way it did, but you at least did what you could.

That’s insane! Did anyone pay for your damages?
You’re more patient than me. I’d have had a knife with its name on it the second time.
Sorry you had to go through that.
Ah, yes, Lolita in Melbourne. My favorite novel.
I don’t know, I think that makes sense personally. I think a good portion of them are actually struggling with feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness, or at least did at some point. When you’re feeling like that, and you have no skills or intellect, you’ll take any lifeboat out, even if the only thing making you different is your skin color. At that point, the only thing I have, my skin color, makes me better than everyone else.
Department of Defense.
Wow, heart warming. Turns out the real terrorists were the Israelis we met along the way ❤
Children taking photos with your car isn’t the flex you think it is.
Coincidentally, and also anecdotally, I saw someone pee on a cyber truck the other day.
I felt so betrayed the other day when I looked at my San Pellegrino and saw it was a Nestlé company.
Assuming you’re asking in good faith, the difference would be helping someone through this hell-hole that’s already here, and was disadvantaged at the start. As opposed to bringing someone in.
Ain’t that the truth
That sounds like hell.
Then there’s the IT support team I have to design systems for in my org that are COMPLETELY useless. They can’t be bothered to do their job, and escalate tickets randomly to Tier 3 without any triage, documentation, or careI wish their management would put even a semblance of accountability on them.
I think a middle ground would be fantastic for everyone.
THE LAST THING YOU’D EXPECT IN YOUR BURGER KING BURGER IS SOMEONE’S FOOT FUNGUS
Maybe not nuked because the invasion of Iraq was a far cry from Unit 731 alone, but America certainly fucked around and found out with 9/11. The government very much cry over the screams of those affected by 9/11 as well.
It has to do with them in that their government would only listen to the sound of their screams. That was the only way to stop them.
No, but they stopped more from occuring.
I will say nukes are bad, though.
Look up the Rape of Nanking. Studying that alone made me believe the bombs were warranted. That’s not even including Unit 731, and the fact that the Japanese government still will not acknowledge their attrocities.
The bombs were a sad necessity to stop the monstrosities.
I’ll die on the hill that driving would be so much safer if everyone had to pass in a manual transmission. That would eliminate so many people who have no business driving from doing so. There are too many people on the road who have no business driving a car.
