I don’t have a thermocouple to slide into the freezer but I can confidently say water and even broth (which should have a freezing point depression due to the added salt) stays frozen no matter what temperature setting I pick and the time of day. It’s very likely then that it stays below 0 degrees C.

Experimenting with the freezer’s settings didn’t cause too much of a change with the ice cream’s texture. Max and minimum temperatures had pretty much no impact. I’ve even opened the tub right after purchasing and it still had the same issue. If the store’s freezers couldn’t keep it somewhat solid, then I can only assume it’s deliberately been made this way now.

This came about only after two indigenous people were arrested and held in prison since 2002 while they were never told what they were arrested for in their native language (they didn’t speak Spanish). Apparently they were tortured too. All the time they never received sentencing so they were still technically innocent and were granted the right to vote in 2018.

That makes plenty of sense. Capitalism with multiple small companies competing in the market to produce consumer friendly goods and services is something that can really work if it’s well-regulated. Publically traded companies should also be legally relieved of the fiduciary duty to provide constantly growing stock value for shareholders.The government needs to keep tight controls on bribery in any form and harsh punishments given to anyone who tries to commit the kind of white collar crimes you see everywhere (e.g. wage theft, intentional environmental damage, market manipulation, etc.).
No amount of top-down planning from a centralized government could produce the same results as a free market. That said, some things just simply need to be socialized like medicine or energy to prevent financial hardship for the average citizen.
