Either! Both would be better than throwing up from the pain, passing out, and then being sneered at for both.

It’s just going to be the ol’ ‘women aren’t allowed to go to school’ schtick again.
This is the same generation that gave us ‘participation trophies’ so their feelings and their kids’ feelings didn’t ‘get hurt’.
I’m not quite sure where this plague of ‘treat my feelings with kid gloves, otherwise I might die’ got started, but we really need to do something about it.
Just in case someone was wondering about the actual answer to this question, here’s an answer from a former servicemember.
Little coward is probably afraid of getting the Brock Allen Turner treatment.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’
-Isaac Asimov, 1980
I mean, I get that it’s a metaphor.
The answer to the MAGA thing is simply that you build, not for them, but in spite of them. You build for everyone. If you want to exclude people who aren’t willing to follow the rules of society and only cause trouble you can, but that’s different than refusing to build anything because they might use it.
The people like MAGA that only seek to tear down what others build, or who refuse to build at all because there’s a chance someone who they don’t approve of (ie PoC) will use it hurt not only themselves, but everyone around them. They are destroying the future by refusing to help build the present, and I think it’s really sad that they would rather a terrible future than one that has things they don’t like in it.
We must build despite those attitudes, or we will simply end up following them into a bad future.
They meant the question showed a viewpoint that seemed to center entirely around you (also a rather libertarian thing, honestly).
‘Someone who would never build something for you’ sounds a bit like you’re expecting a tit-for-tat, I-do-this-for-you-so-you-have-to-do-something-for-me in everything, and that’s just not how societies work.
I’m curious; are you using that phrase to refer to, say, rich assholes who just take and take, or Nazi assholes that would rather cut off their own hands than build something a black person might use? Or are you using it to refer to people like severely disabled folks, or say, low-functioning autistic people, who society supports but who don’t have much capacity to ‘return the favor’?
Or are you just referring to future generations, who will be around after you’re gone?
I think it’s just your question comes off as nihilistic and a little bit libertarian, and neither of those is mentally healthy really

The reason for the ban is still stupid though.
Oh, don’t worry; they definitely want to ban them for cis kids too (or at least girls). The one thing Conservatives the world over have in common is they like their women young.
There was. The Tigris and Euphrates flooded several times. Noah’s Ark is a retelling of an older Sumerian myth.
I wonder if there’s a bit of not wanting to believe what people can accomplish if a massive number of us all teamed up to do something.
Because then they’d feel guilty for not getting up out of their armchair and going to support whatever cause they claim they’re supporting from the comfort of home.
It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it.

Or maybe, just maybe, more information on COVID was being gained day by day, and they were adjusting to meet that changing data. There was plenty of scientific data backing up the changes.
Plus, y’know, they had to balance the effects of a deadly disease with the need for those essential jobs.
Good grief, get over yourself.
Oh, it’s canon. And it gets even crazier.
The government uses maritime law to make these shell corporations, because your mother gives ‘berth’ to you, goods that she signs away to the State. These chuckleheads actually call it a ‘berth certificate’. That’s why they always go on about ‘not being subject to maritime law’ whe they get dragged into court.
(You can tell it’s a maritime court because the flag has fringe on it.)
They have this weird belief that words that sound the same mean the same thing. It makes for some… interesting ideas.
These twats believe a name in ALL CAPS is a ‘fictional shell corporation’ and a name in Regular Capitalized Lowercase is a ‘real person’. (They prove this by saying your name is written in all caps on your birth certificate because that’s when the government creates the shell corporation of you that they trade securities against.)
So this person is upset that the government is trying to trick them by having an envelope looking like it’s addressed to the real person, but inside the letter is for the shell corporation.
They don’t want to be conflated with their shell corporation in any way, because that’s the entity that’s responsible for taxes and following laws and paying back debts, stuff like that. SovCits want to live in and take advantage of society’s benefits, but they don’t want to actually contribute to it. Especially if it involves childcare.
lol
A delivery guy I know couldn’t make his (scheduled, daily) pickup at an Amazon warehouse because the robot security didn’t recognize him that day (despite being the usual guy, with a badge).
So yeah, that probably will be the most likely scenario.
