There’s only so many 3-word slogans for “I’m a douchbag”
That’s assuming (a lot) about the 30 year old knowing more about “what women want” compared to their 16 year old self.
When I was a kid I always assumed there would be a point in life where I’d feel like an adult. You don’t, you just get ground into the mould with responsibilities & stress!
The only difference between me aged 30 & 16 is grey hairs & white knuckles. I know jack shit about “what women want”, other than “don’t be a dickhead”.
Unless it’s used to find them shelter & permanent accommodation. But that’s never going to happen.
People with the tiniest grip of power are very quick to forget the human factors.
It stopped being comical years ago. Their behavior is jarring.
The healthy food options are also usually twice the cost too.
You don’t need a warrant to purchase data.
That data would have been collected by a private company, and sold to them. The NSA isn’t the only entity purchasing that metadata.
Not only should the public be concerned on the NSA’s intention for that data, but for the countless private companies holding & using it too.
Putin: “Some (Most) of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make…”
Paratroopers/Marines: “Fuck no.”
If you’re struggling to merge at highway speeds, you’re doing it wrong.
Whilst absolutely true for the short term, the ‘lifetime’ emissions of a EV can be up to 70% lower than petrol cars in countries with renewable electricity, or 30% lower in the UK now with its mixed power generation.
Yes, if everyone switched to a EV today, the environmental impact would be immense due to manufacturing. But if they switched to it after their current ICE vehicle usable life has expired, longterm it would be better for the environment.
They’re not specifically targeting their protests to inconvenience the influencers, politicians or industries supporting the licensing of Big Oil. The majority targets making a large spectacle, with a significant amounts of criminal damage - something to become news-worthy.
Not once have I seen them promote alternative policy changes for oil & gas use. They’re also not promoting projects dealing with climate change.
They’re certainly getting exposure, but they’re not winning the public vote. I agree with their cause, but I despise their methods.
Podman ftw!
Zero sympathy. If they wanted to reduce the amount of illegal streamers, all they’ve got to do is make their content more accessible.
Release it on multiple streaming platforms, not just their own. Ensure its released globally at the same time. And get rid of the geo-blocking.
The lack of reasonable legal alternatives is what drives piracy.
This an American thing? This is exactly what happens in the UK.
