For me it’s a difference but I’d say it’s minor as for as what I can truly tell. I’m more comfortable now that I can sit or stand when I want. Sometimes I’m restless so being able to stand and easily move while I work feels good.
The high seas.
Just because this is the first post that I see that mentions LoTR, I’ll throw in
The Silmarillion
Children of Hurin
Beren and Luthien (personal favorite)
The Fall of Gondolin (incomplete, but incredible)
These are all Tolkien works and I could read them over and over.
I’m a current sync user. I have tried both Voyager and jerboa. I don’t like either one. Neither are as smooth and gestures don’t work as well on either one. I’m clinging onto sync until the features I use break.
I would water there are internal controls, but I think your larger points is you could theoretically get around those controls with enough… Skills and/or the right internal people.
I loved this show for the first couple of seasons, but it’s gotten a bit too sappy for me. Some of the quick hit humor seems to have left and been replaced by constant tugging of the heart strings which I’ve become bored with.
Are they going to go more than 2-3? I think I’d be good with 3.
Any of these have similar gesture based navigation as sync? That’s my favorite thing about it. I Just tried Voyager and it’s alright, but I dislike the navigation.
Do childless, non-managerial people have no complaints in life? Most things aren’t perfect. It doesn’t mean they’re not also fulfilling.
On the other hand, some people just like to complain. The comment you’re making just lacks some nuance.
Maybe? I do not have enough information on it to speak intelligently. What % of adults (let’s say over 25) were homeowners then compared to now?
It’s just as bad of an echo chamber as other sites. I have to actively “stop” browsing lemmy after a bit because I get annoyed at the repetitive nature of everything.
I’ve very much tried in the last few years to limit social media. I think it’s been a benefit for me. I like social media, but having “stops” makes it more enjoyable and prevents the doom feelings.
