  • I’m not sure why people downvoted instead of educating. To answer your question: no, it isn’t. It has been awhile since I’ve used torrents, so this may be a little out of date, but typically, within your P2P client you’ll have active “seeds,” including while you’re downloading. Some people immediately delete files from “active” after their download is complete. It is generally considered proper etiquette to leave the torrent active (at least) until it you have uploaded approximately 2x what you have downloaded. This helps keep torrents active and relatively quick, while not placing the bulk of the bandwidth burden on a few seeders.

  • I’m with the other guy. The movie going experience was awful for a long time until I just stopped going. If they’ve made changes, they’ve made them too late for many people, especially when they are charging $20+ in my area. Additionally, regardless of what changes they’ve made to the seats, that doesn’t change how shitty other people are. The noise, lights, running around, spilling food/drinks everywhere, etc creates an environment more akin to a wrestling match than a movie.

  • Ultimately, it probably doesn’t matter. Your wife may have a point, but it is completely negated by the fact she’s introducing contaminants from her hand to the food. Using a clean item to remove the excess may be beneficial, especially if the liquid drying can make it hard to open. Again, all of this is splitting hairs if your food is generally stored correctly and nobody is at particular risk for food borne illness. You’re at home, not serving others in a restaurant.
