A LTT video recently mentioned, often it’s cheaper to buy a broken laptop that uses the same charging cord just for the cord than to buy the charging cable directly. But there’s always some hassle second hand even if it is much cheaper.
I thought if you liked the source in the post it embedded directly, rather than using reddit’s player? I’d agree just a link to the Reddit post wouldn’t be good.
I think Reddit works? Instagram and Twitter don’t though. I liked the Twitter mirrors for that, since you could hot link their videos, but I think they all got shut down.
I didn’t know if .world or .dev allow it, but .works let you upload short videos directly I think, at least they used to.
But hotlinking I think would be best. Firefox usually lets you copy the source link, but idk which formats and sites integrate well with Lemmy.
If you’re looking for something less overtly tankie, any instance other than hexbear or .ml to a lesser extent is probably okay. But I’d recommend just blocking the subs that have too much political stuff. I don’t think there’s a specifically conservative instance, since that isn’t really Lemmy’s demographic.
Rouge tires are super scary, they can just come out of no where and send you flying.
It looks so cool, I hope it actually launches. They’ve already gone bankrupt once before. I was holding off on a new car for a while to hope to get one, but it doesn’t look like they’re coming out soon, so I got a bolt, which has been great.
I’m also very close with my youngest brother. When I was at college, something that helped him was making plans for what to do when I come back for a weekend or breaks. Also sending things to each other, I’d 3d print neat things for him and he’d draw lots of cool drawings for me. I don’t know what you enjoy, but channeling something you are passionate about (like 3d printing for me or drawing for him) might help.
going to war with a superpower is extremely bad
Russia isn’t ready a super power any more and Ukraine definitely didn’t have a choice on getting invaded.
Because NATO has never accepted applicants with active territorial disputes.
It’d need to be 13 to 80 times more massive to be a brown dwarf.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_dwarf
If it gained mass rapidly, most all the moons would likely destabilize since they’d have way too little velocity for the orbit they’d now be in. But if they sped up to accommodate, it’d depend on the density change of Jupiter. The fusion would push out material a bit, but the density would probably just increase because of the increased mass.
But if the density stayed the same, the radius would be 2.4 to 4.3 times larger than currently. With Jupiter having a radius of 70,000 km, that’d put it at 170,000 to 300,000 km radius. That’d put Metis and Adrastea inside 170, and Amalthea and Thebe inside 300. They’d already be heavily inside the jovian atmosphere, so they’d be toast. Io, Europa, and maybe others might also fall due to higher atmospheric drag at those levels.

I think the rest of the moons would be planets then, and the solar system would be a binary system.
Wolves are apex predators. Or were till we turned them into poodles.
Until 2022 it had been going down since WWII.
They allowed to attack military targets in internationally recognized Russia yet? Permission to do that would really help undermine logistics and concentrations.
Those two are the same place? Looks like it was entirely destroyed and rebuilt as something else, I’m seeing very little similarly between the two.
Not the ones I know
Based on current trends
And the lions would quickly get too cold by having way too much surface area.
Scientific accuracy is no fun for shrinking and growing things.
