I can use your “fiddling with your os” as an argument against Linux too. Driver changes, software updates, software in general can cause ANY OS to require fiddling with to get back to operational.

Nothing about your comment came across as a joke or tongue in cheek.
My wife’s family is full hispanic, and most of them can’t approach the heat levels that I, a white guy, can take. I could always take spicy food, and no, it didn’t take years of being around it to build tolerance. Some people can just take high heat.
Such a weird take basing spice tolerance on race.
Grew up on well water, it tasted funny. Most water I tried to drink was from water fountains, tasted like copper. First bottled water I drank was Deja Blue, and it tasted like hose water. So I thought all water tasted like ass.
I didn’t get that water could taste good until I drank actual bottled spring water. Now I have nice water filters that make my tap taste just fine, and I know what brands of water to buy if I need to.
Give your potential date an option of drinks [if you’re ok with alcohol obviously) or coffee/tea. It let’s them decide what they are comfortable with.
Yeesh, I could barely read this one.
I exclusively stream torrents. It’s almost flawless for me. The trick is you need a paid service like real debrid to get access to the good links. If you are only searching free ones, it’s going to be low quality, and selection sucks. I use RD and Kodi personally, it also allows you to torrent traditionally, too, and without the need of a VPN if your isp is nosey.
I think I got the cancer punch card. Both paternal grandparents, and my dad (unsure about Mom, not in the picture) had cancer. Lost both grandparents and dad is currently undergoing treatment.
Yay.
Current OLED tech has reduced burn-in to almost zero. I can’t remember what major tech site did extensive burn testing but they found almost all current gen models had almost zero issues. The ones with any noticeable retention went through the pixel cleaning and was almost good as new.
As the flipside to the question, pretty much any customer facing job like retail, sales, or food service have been spot on, especially if they are specifically calling those industries out. Superstore, Waiting, Office Space etc. are so damn accurate to the pain of working them.
To the original question, I think it was mentioned earlier, but anything with a gun is typically wrong. The struggling artist who can afford immense loft apartments in downtown cities. Ghost hunting/supernatural expeditions are so glamorized. They NEVER tell you how much time it takes to review everything.
I had no idea that once the current was in the magnet, no more power was required to keep it going.
I know a guy who got Abe Simpson crawling out of his butt crack.
Their app is such hot garbage. I have had to pirate episodes because my app gets frozen on ads and refuses to play an episode.
Super Troopers
A core memory unlock scent for me is any time I smell honeysuckle. We had some where I grew up, and it just instantly takes me back.
Others are a spray from Lush called sleepy time. It’s Lavender and Tonka, and it is the most calming scent I’ve ever been around.
Dark chocolate.
Good roasted coffee.
Wife’s body spray Tea and Bergamont from bath and bodyworks.
My weird ones are lumber and gasoline
Oh I get this one. It’s usually along the lines of “the blood bank would love to have you” or even “I could find your veins blindfolded”
Boss was arrested for ordering expensive toner cartridges for “store use” and reselling them. He had racked up around 80k and a felony charge.
Also, the absolute horrors that occurred in another job’s bathroom were biblical.
Every time my Boston wants to sleep, which is all the time, she has to wrap herself like a burrito in any blanket laying around.
I’m a guy, but the top brands for awhile now are On Cloud, Hoka and cross. I found OC fit my feet better overall, but definitely try those 2 out.
In a single person’s lifetime, we went from not flying to landing on the moon. We absolutely can produce AGI in most of our lifetimes. I predict within 15-20 years, we will have a functioning AGI. It may also need to coincide with actually figuring out quantum computing just for sheer computational needs.
This all hinges on if investments in AI continue at its current pace, which we already see cracks in though.
