I guess the closest experience you can get is if you’ll just block all meme communities
Idk if you can do it on Lemmy, but on MBin you can block communities (magazines)
Hello! That’s my main mbin account, my alt is @Fitik, I also have a furry/personal account at @fitik
I’m just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱, a queer, and a #Fediverse enthusiast! I’m a liberal
I don’t post much stuff, but when I do I usually post about #tech

@[email protected] There’s is one on @[email protected] ( [email protected] ) , I don’t know what they haven’t linked it
@[email protected] Btw, if you’re using Mbin you can follow them directly from there! Their account is @[email protected] ( [email protected] )
@[email protected] Same, PeerTube has so much good and interesting content, this content just doesn’t get exposure because of bad discoverability
@[email protected] I like GrayJay, even tho I find their integration of PeerTube quite lacking.
There are 2 other services AFAIK, however they’re very barebone
@[email protected] Yep, TechCrunch even addressed it in the article
Developed over the past few months, sub.club shares engineering and design resources with Mammoth, the Mastodon app backed by Mozilla, Long Journey Ventures and Salesforce’s Marc Benioff. Though some fediverse supporters don’t like the idea of VCs and for-profit businesses entering their space, Mammoth’s co-founder Bart Decrem thinks bringing money into the fediverse could help it to thrive.
@[email protected] You can just use an instance that is defederated from them, that’s the beauty of the Fediverse
According to https://lemm.ee/instances your instance already blocks them for example
Well, maybe someone will make a Lemmy frontend in the style of Lotide or something similar
What’s the status on it/its forks? Does anyone use any of it, and have any recommendations?
I use Sharkey instance as my main and it’s pretty good, it’s stays upstream with Misskey (Like Glitch-don stays upstream with Mastodon), so I feel like there’s a smaller chance of it being abandoned
You can also follow PeerTube channels directly in Piefed.
I just want to note, that with the last MBin update(1.7) you can follow PeerTube channels directly from MBin as well!
@[email protected] It’s already a feature request on GitHub, you can put thumbs up under it here
Mbin also got a join site
@[email protected] On my instance there is 3 active communities, I am not admin in any of them but i think they’re pretty cool
[email protected] - Community dedicated to the firefox browser [email protected] - Community dedicated to the customization of Firefox [email protected] - Got very cool CSS and looks pretty and customized, dedicated to art and pics of floating things
@[email protected] Guilded isn’t open source tho, unlike Revolt or Matrix
Sorry, that’s a cool infographic, but how is it related to the Fediverse?
There in Threadiverse there also exists [email protected] community for discussing digital accessibility, however it’s not very active, but it does seem important
On mbin/kbin you can actually do this, you can block/subscribe to other instances(domains) as well
Says lemm.ee user lmao
I use TikTok (around a hour a day) and use the Fediverse too(Mbin and Misskey fork), so I guess I am a target audience, so they do touch, pfft
Also there’s Pixelfed userbase, I think they would like short form video platform, cause Instagram has it
