No thanks, I’m good.
No thanks, I’m good.
Music seems to tap into something very primal and has a significant effect on my mood.
Music is one of my greatest joys in life.
And air travel is increasing.
Air travel for leisure / tourism is environmentally irresponsible to the extent that I cannot personally justify my participation.
Not in any order:
Military / warfare
Excessive HVAC use: heating/cooling unnecessarily large spaces (as opposed to zoned) and by more degrees than necessary
Unnecessary and inefficient transportation. This includes most air travel, cruise ships, shitty urban planning, commutes for jobs that can be done remotely, large/inefficient automobiles.
Cryptocurrencies and AI
Consumer junk based on planned obsolence, lack of reliability, poor quality, and excessive packaging (often plastic)
Food - increased per capita consumption of animal products and egregious amounts of food waste.
I’m not sure how I would even quantify this.
But I could qualify this: having a consensus across multiple trusted sources.
“Even a broken clock is right twice a day”
I am also a fan of the hurdy gurdy. Here’s my entry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypuaJLHK_LQ
You still sleep at night and have businesses open during the day. It’s just that the numbers displayed on the clock are different when this happens. Maybe standard business hours are 2-10 or 14-22 instead of 9-17 (I advocate 24-hour clock instead of AM/PM).
Yeah, the number on the clock is just a number. Does it matter if it says 12 or 6 or 20?
That said, if we were going to a universal time zone, I would definitely get rid of AM/PM and do 24-hour clock.
“Us vs them” mentality.
I didn’t have a Facebook account before. I sure as fuck am not getting one now.

You get to keep only enough to maintain a very modest lifestyle in a low-cost-of-living area
Am I allowed to still be employed to earn an income for my own lifestyle?
Anyhow, probably fund lab-grown egg and meat (lab grown dairy already exists) and deal with the red tape and political obstacles it is facing.
I don’t use Revanced, but using a mobile browser in desktop mode has produced good results for me.
Yeah, has to do with where the turning wheels are positioned. It’s like with forklifts having the wheels turn in the back instead of the front.
When I have to park in a particularly narrow spot, I find backing in easier due to the better vantage point of the camera.
It would seem that America doesn’t have a problem with collective punishment
It sounds like you’re disabled in this area
I’m not quite sure how you got that from my original comment: “Note that I’ve been driving for over a quarter century without collision or moving violation, so not so much a skill issue per se.”
And collisions will be at a lower speed since no one will be blasting straight through the intersection. Unless someone really fucks up.
Yeah, his comment was most definitely targeted.
