Which blown up to his face since the left kinda united itself and the far right still got a good advance. Even worse, this time its party got third by a long shot, and may loose a lot of its seats at the National Assembly.

Macron made an irresponsible gamble, at the worst possible timing, without taking in account his current lack of popularity. To no one surprise it blown up in his face.

I never denied Palestinians right to defend themselves. They are oppressed by an apartheid-like regime (no matter how democratic it is), and have every right to denounce that. But I can’t either blame the Israeli to try to defend themselves when Hamas goes and assassinate men women and children in cold blood. No amount of oppression can justify this kind of violence.

And now we got Hamas hiding behind the starving Palestinian population, while Israel indiscriminately bomb everyone with no care for their safety.

In the end we have two evil fighting each other, while the general populace (especially Palestinian) suffers. I can’t support either, best I can is to support ending this senseless war to allow those who suffers to rebuild and seek a peaceful solution that bring everyone together as equals. There was multiple time in history where we were quite close to a solution, but every time, extremist of both side went and fucked everything over.

That why I’m talking about “mistakes”. No one in their right mind would believe them.

It would have been harder to support Ukraine if they went and killed thousands of innocent Russian before being aggressed by Russia. But they didn’t.

Most of the west do support the right for Israel to defend itself from such attack, but there is no doubt that Israel went way to far with their riposte. No matter if the Hamas uses the Palestinian as meat shield, Israel made so many “mistakes” and killed so many innocents that it should have asked long ago for the UN to intervene in their place to avoid further unnecessarily killing.

Unfortunately rapes are hard to prove. DNA traces and bruises are quick to disappear, and as such samples have to be taken quickly.
That’s why most cases of rapes are mainly based on victims testimonials, a requires extensive investigation to be proved as plausible enough to warrant a trial.

In the current case both side refuse to let third party investigate such allegation, and this should raise suspicion for both sides. But both have plausible excuses for such refusal. Hamas don’t want strangers to know where hostages are held, and Israel may want to protect the alleged victims from the media pressure.

Indeed, but without investigations it is too early to say that it was a lie or if was the truth. Instead of labeling hastily one side allegation as lie, it has to be investigated, and proved as such.

Don’t mistake it as defending one side or the other, both side are different faces of a similar evil, but polarizing the debate in such way will just make it harder for moderates and peace advocate to be heard.

It is pretty hard to say what’s is true and what isn’t in an ongoing conflict. Both side tries to make the other look evil while trying to hide or minimize their own evil deeds.

In any case, I was sarcastic if that wasn’t obvious. There is good people among anarchists, as well as among those who aren’t. But not having rules make it way easier for the bad apples to get their way with it, as with them it requires a lot more investment and careful planing to break them.

You could run a WebDAV server, like Nextcloud.

On windows it supports thin sync (meaning that it keep a reference to the file instead of the whole file), on Linux not yet, as it is still in alpha (but you can just connect it as a remote disk and be done with it. That’s how I do with mines).

If you don’t want the whole Nextcloud, there are standalone cli WebDAV servers.
