Also, they still haven’t understood that love isn’t some checklist where people compare their spreadsheet of traits against each other. Fuck that “league” shit. I know happy couples that have an imbalance in what incels would consider valuable, but they … they just love each other and resonate on a level that goes beyond wealth or looks. Now, this can be important, depending on the person, but it doesn’t have to be.

  • I recently saw a video clip by Josh Strife Hayes. He was talking about MMORPG culture, but it can be extended beyond that. It’s about the inability of people to be bored and impatience. Old people can manage with being bored. They can spend an hour not doing much of anything. But the further you go in time, the less patience people have. And that’s not because they are better or worse humans inherently, it’s because they grew up in an society where things increasingly got busy. So it also isn’t a binary old people/young people, but a progressing state of people getting blasted more and more with stuff.

This is to the point where there are YouTube videos where people cut away little bits of space between sentences just so there isn’t even a second of calm. Social media plattforms just bury you under content and new content suggestions. A lot of games don’t even want to risk downtime and just throw all kinds of random content at you for you to work through., quick travel so you won’t have a few minutes of calm walking somewhere. Just content back to back with more content.

And this ultimately leads to way more stuff for you than you can consume and an inreasing fear of missing out on something if you’re not constantly on the ball.

  • Yeah, thanks for your insight. I don’t fault you for being angry at Israel, I am too. But all the more reason to stick to the facts and don’t criticize Israel on loose grounds. There are enough crimes we know they did, and it’s less than productive to make something we don’t know for sure is their fault into their fault only to have facts blown up in our faces.

Sticking as close a possible to the facts, consider information of all kinds, even if we don’t like the people, it’s important in this disinformation war raging on the topic. We can be better than the people who still repeat the false 40 beheaded babies.

  • At the very least, you should look at all evidence given to us before making a judgement.

Alone that you are saying “Hamas” rockets shows that you have not really dove into the topic. Because not even Israel claimed it was Hamas, but Islamic Jihad, which is a distinct group. Furthermore, they also had an argument regarding the increased damage.

I suggest you look at what we know first, before you make a judgement like “99.9%”. This disinformation shit happens on both sides and it must be stopped. The situation doesn’t get any clearer by people doing this.
