I guess loops will have good chances to succeed. It’s seen as a ‘bereal’ social network alternatives, the people I showed it were surprised it contains content from real people. If it spreads thanks to young developers and their friends and circles, it might disrupt the “boring game”. Vine is back
Judging by the state of his apps, could he pay someone to mentor him while he learns the basics of app development? I’m not saying it’s easy but he seems intent on learning as he goes on his closed source project which due to the buggy state of it, makes the rest of the fediverse look like a bunch amateur software developer hacks to the influx of millions of new users.
Well, not closed source anymore. Looks like, in an effort to align with ‘switch’ day that’s been happening on Mastodon, the source code is now open to the public as of an hour ago:
