There are so many issues that have been proven to both lower costs and increase positive outcomes that people, just in their zest to hate or something, just refuse to consider. Single payer healthcare, UBI, humane treatment of drug abusers and detained people, and on and on. Often the people most against the idea(s) are the same ones who bitch about gov’t spending.
