Mayeeaheeeeee mayeeeaaahhooooo mayeeeeaaaa ha ha!
I had to read too far for this.
Yeah I think it was just the sort of huge mass way the HP community reacted, it was very wholesome. All Rickman ever wanted to be was an actor and he made it late in life then died.
A huge part of Facebook was covered with:
+1. Just enabled as well.
Bro, you should have thought of that before you went to Peru in the 1300s. Totally preventable.
Haven’t seen it, but it’s been recommended to me.
There’s a stand out episode of Burn Notice that always comes to mind as an example, but I don’t have it handy to share.
Hobby 1: Ballroom dancing
It is surprisingly difficult to get into a good dance position, especially for the standard (waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, Viennese waltz) dances. Two actors walk up to each other and it’s apparent even before they touch that they have no idea WTF they are doing: they aren’t even standing up correctly.
Hobby 2: Chess
Smart guy walks over and absolutely beats the pants off of anyone else playing like 30 seconds after they get taught the rules or from glancing over the shoulder of someone else playing the game. It’s all “aha! Mate in 4!”.
No way dude. It is way, way not that easy. There’s “good at chess” and there’s “GOOD at chess”. Unless you are part of a very large club or are taking lessons from someone at or above the master level, you probably don’t know anybody in the second category. Dr. House is not going to blindfold beat anyone like that.
Sounds vaguely like a threat to blow them up…
Bro. We use ed around here.
I’m just gonna quote my wife here when I talk about outlandish work stuff:
“Wow.” - dream_weasel’s wife
Former president?
Edit: former presidents can’t drive… It’s a joke folks
Are we sure he’s not going to do over a particular franchise of Penn station east Coast subs?
Yes and that’s how it should be. It shouldn’t even be conscious. I signal into and out of parking spaces, I signal every lane change, hell I signal for sharp corners sometimes.
It seems to me if you are choosing to signal or not, then the use of turn signals isn’t that heavily ingrained. Before I turn the wheel I’m instinctively touching the signal lever.
Keep up the good work!
Let’s not also forget cerebrospinal fluid or the juice in your eyeballs! And of course pus.
That’s a cataclysm. Capitalism is a criminal act conducted with computers and resulting in violence, destruction, or death of targets in an effort to scare people and coerce a government to alter it’s policies.
Nope
First sentence of each paragraph: correct.
Basically all the rest is bunk besides the fact that you can’t count on always getting reliable information. Right answers (especially for something that is technical but non-verifiable), wrong reasons.
There are “stochastic language models” I suppose (e.g., click the middle suggestion from your phone after typing the first word to create a message), but something like chatgpt or perplexity or deepseek are not that, beyond using tokenization / word2vect-like setups to make human readable text. These are a lot more like “don’t trust everything you read on Wikipedia” than a randomized acid drop response.
The ending of the last night angel books really follows you around.
