This is the dream ❤️
This is the dream ❤️
I think David Mitchell puts it succinctly 👌
Ah yes, I also remember Teletext!
That sounds great!
Wait a minute… That doesn’t sound like anarchy… That sounds like democracy!
Ladbrokes is a good start. Job Centre. Gym (boxing gyms usually). Race riots.
Am I the only normal person in these comments?
I only want a life-size cutout of Danny Devito, and it’s only £40!
Last Resort as in Papa Roach’s Last Resort?
I’m sure you could write an entire collection of books on the irrationality of Brexit.
As James O’Brien graciously puts it: “We are the first country in history to have placed economic sanctions upon itself”
This is for you, just for geeking out about ink and paper ❤️ have some Lemmy Gold 🪙
But yeah, I remember writing with fountain pens when I was at school, but I was awful with them.
I did get the hang of it after a point, though, and the writing was always beautiful when I got it working.
I may have to invest. It’ll give me an excuse to write some handwritten letters to friends and family ❤️
It’s amusing to me because back in 2006 when I went to college, I was the only person in class taking notes on my dinky 10" notebook laptop and I loved not having to carry around ridiculous amounts of bulky folders and paper. Nowadays, I have a 2-in-1 laptop and use a stylus to take notes instead!
I’m with you all the way to the final sentence.
Your indicator usage is linked to your mirror usage. If you use indicators in all situations regardless, what you might actually forget to do is look in your mirrors properly, which is more important.
Your first two mentions are fine examples. In the UK at least, using indicators when entering your driveway or a parking space isn’t necessary if no other cars or pedestrians are approaching your car.
Man, I don’t wanna know what you mean!
Does it support it? It do!
Call me boring, but I found Connect first and haven’t really looked at anything else.
It’s absolutely fit for the purposes I use it for. I’m not sure what criticisms it has, but I certainly haven’t found anything to complain about!
We’re all on Mr Bones’ Wild Ride now. At least we’re in good company 🫂
I’ve seen LLM NPC’s and whilst they’re still far from being convincing, I don’t imagine it’ll take too long for them to get there.
I can’t wait for a GTA style game (maybe even GTA itself) where I can just walk by someone on the street and have a completely normal dialogue with an NPC. Or even just start shit by yelling at people or causing beef between two of them by suggesting one insulted the other.
I went to one for the first time in 8 years a couple of weeks ago. Next time I go I’ll be enjoying the little café they have and joining in on their creative writing course!
I didn’t realise how many little events and classes happen in my local library, and most of them are either completely free or cost next to nothing.
