its generally happening in any country that has a reletively speaking, high GDP, because regardless of where you are in the world, the wealth tends to collect in a small group of people rather than get spread out.
wait till you visit(or revisit) South Koreas attempt to normalize 69 hour work weeks
some sovcits dont realize currency is only as valueable as the trust in the government behind it to not screw up its value.
its why when countries go through massive inflation, the layperson may reject local currency in favor of more stable currency.
the same law is the one that crypto is behind. an arbitrary coin is only as valuable as its rarity and the value in which deem it valuable.
the sovcits dont realize the coupons have no value to others, no matter how much they value it as. its like the tiny disclaimer on coupons where the actual value of the coupon or w/e is 1 cent.
one of the few things that marks a super power is having (reletively) good logistics. almost all major corporations that sell products have to master logistics.
yes, but the key difference is how its. typically used. reddit/lemmy is generally following specific topics while other forms of social media tend to follow specific people or organizations
so yes, both imo are forms of social media, but brcause of how you interact more with it is different, it feels like it’s not the same.
iirc it was yuzu who linked tools to do it, but the application itself didnt do it. Yuzus main problem was often linking to resources and advertising stuff, and partially locking it behind a paywall.
you missed the point of the article, its about apple basically giving users all their location data, and a hi vis jacket when shopping around such that anyone is allowed to access said information on where youve been. its apples fault for taping the website cookies to a unique identifier and allowing any website to access said list.
this has nothing to do with 3rd party apps, but how apple handles other stores in its own browser.
apples not producing the chip in house, only the design. if apple had control of the materials, it would be the non cpu/memory conponents.
hence why i mentioned it was still a lot of money just liekly not on that magnitude given both price cut sales and googles 30% cut of sales.
at bare minimum, the dev has at least made 5 million probably post taxes for sure.
while still a lot of money, keep in mind, a decent amount of those downloads was bought on sale. in my own personal context, i only had bought it when it was 1$
iirc its the sale specificly of moddified content. you can do services yourself, but the sale of mod services, content and tools is illegal.
so modding a game, console is okay.
modding to seek profit is not okay.
rivian is a up and coming startup, whose largest push was when they got the contract from amazon to design their EV delivery trucks. so within the next couple of years their portfolio and options will increase, and become cheaper.
some people dont understand the difference between company policy/TOS and Law
doesnt even have to be soviet, basically worldwide. doesnt stop north koreans from watching South korean made content, doesnt stop americans from making or drinking alcohol during prohibition. Banning something that a lot of people do wont stop people from doing it, only from doing it publicly.
Google USSR deficit to see what stores looked like).
jesus, that reletively makes the Cuban food scarcity look like a charity.
ask bleem who actually beat Sony in court but went bankrupt. its not about the legality, its about the wallet.
historically Congress was meant to be stronger than the president, but overtime, election of the president became much more impactful, as well as the number of executive actions have increased, so proportionally speaking, the president has gained a lot of power, especially in a time where parties fall in line based on the letter of their party.
copper in the context of itself is actually pretty cheap. the problem copper has is that copper is reletively expensive when compared to other common metals, hence why in some industries, copper usage is being cut back more (e.g heatsinks, as copper is commonly used for its great heat transfer coefficient, but reletively speaking, is more expensive than aluminum, while cheaper and lighter, doesnt conduct heat as well as copper)
to be fair, even if you got the job, ciscos high turnover rate, you’d probably be out the door in under 2 years anyways
