The Ecological Footprint metric shows how much nature we use compared to how much nature we have.
What is this
nonsense?“Calculate YOUR ecological footprint! What can YOU do to fix it? (hint: it’s give us $20 and buy our book)” fuck off.
The most impactful thing you could do for climate change involves the use of a gundam and the stomach to do a lot of gruesome crimes on a specifc 0.1% of the global population. That would be illegal, and I could never advocate for that.

No way it’s that low.
Question: does 1 earth of resources make it equal, where it replenishes whatevers taken?
if so, I’m surprised we aren’t using even more, I would’ve thought we are using 18 earth’s.
I think, it doesn’t include resources that we don’t deem renewable in the first place? So, coal, gas, uranium etc. will just run out in the not-too-distant future and that is a problem, but a separate problem.
